Team building is a term often less understood, rather misunderstood. The primary objective of all team building events is to create the broader sense or meaning, or macro meaning of a team. The broader aim, the broader structure and the broader mind set is too critical for anyone who is a part of a team and these should certainly be in the curriculum of team building events.
Team building consultants often emphasize on certain facts which need to be noted for building a very good team or to achieve something good through a team activity. Primary thing is the act of conveying clear expectations to the team members by the authority.
